Description
1985 Standard Chartered Bank two $10 banknote (UNC Condition with Slight Teller Mark) A 999923-24

This type of banknote was issued by Standard Chartered across seven different years from 1985 to 1991. Measuring 139 × 69 mm, this series is colloquially known as the "Little Carp" ("細鯉魚") due to the carp featured on the obverse. The reverse displays the Standard Chartered Bank building on the left.

The item offered for sale consists of a pair of consecutive 10-dollar banknotes from the inaugural 1985 issue. These two notes feature first-prefix "A" serial numbers A 999923 and A 999924. They are in uncirculated, crisp condition with no folds or yellowing, featuring a desirable "lion number" (repeating nines) starting with 9999. A slight teller mark is present on the lower central white margin of the notes as shown in the photos, graded as UNC condition.
