This type of large ten-dollar banknote was issued from 1941 to 1959, covering a total of 14 different years and months. In 1958, there were three months with the same design of the banknote: January, March, and September. Despite being from the same year, the prices vary significantly. Among the 14 years and months, the most expensive banknote is from March 1958, followed by September 1958, with the third most expensive being from March 1946. On the other hand, the January 1958 banknote is the cheapest among the 14 different years. The banknotes measure 183 × 108 mm, and the reverse side features the HSBC Headquarters.
