September 1958 HSBC Bank 10 dollar Relatively Expensive Month (EF-AU condition) W/J 747209

These larger ten dollar banknotes were issued in 14 different years and months from 1941 to 1959.

In 1958, the same design of the banknote was issued in three different months: January, March, and September. Despite being from the same year, the prices can vary significantly. Among these 14 months, the most expensive is from March 1958, followed by September 1958, with the third being from March 1946. The January 1958 note is the least expensive among the 14 months.

The one being offered this time is from September 1958, with the serial number W/J 747209. The banknote has a few folds that are not very noticeable, it is intact without any holes, and there is slight yellowing along the edges. It is graded between EF and AU condition.
