1959, 1962, 1963, 1964 - United States 1 dime silver coins in total of four (90% silver)
This series of United States 1 dime silver coins (1 dime equivalent to 1/10 of a US dollar) was issued from 1946 to 1964, with releases for each year, featuring varying mint marks for some years. The set being sold this time comprises the later four years - 1959, 1962, 1963, 1964. These coins have been circulated, all made of 90% silver, weighing 2.5 grams each, with a diameter of 1.7 centimeters and a thickness of 1.1 micrometers.
On the obverse side of the coins is the left profile of Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States who served from 1933 until his death in 1945. Above the portrait is the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST," surrounded by the word "LIBERTY." The initials of the engraver, John R. Sinnock, are inscribed under the truncation. The reverse side of the coins features the motto "E • PLU RIB US • U NUM," with an olive branch, a torch, and an oak branch symbolizing peace, liberty, and victory, respectively, surrounded by the face value and the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA."
