1978 China T29M Arts and Crafts Souvenir Sheetlet

This souvenir sheet was issued on August 26, 1978, with a souvenir sheet of 139 x 90 mm and a central stamp size of 90 x 40 mm, with a face value of 3yuan, the central ticket picture is the "flying" mural. 

In the art category, arts and crafts belong to a plastic art. It can be roughly divided into two categories: one is the furnishings dedicated to appreciating Yile, called furnishing craftsmanship; the other type is decorative and processed daily practical goods, called daily crafts. Arts and crafts are global, and all parts of the world have their own craft works, which show different style characteristics due to different historical periods, geographical environments, economic conditions, cultural and technological levels, national customs and aesthetic views. After the founding of the People's Republic of China, the party and the government paid attention to it, arts and crafts bloomed, talents were abundant, and high-quality products were produced, which not only beautified people's lives, but also exported a large number of foreign exchange to support national construction. 

Arts and crafts (souvenir sheet) were issued with the T29 stamp. The pattern is "Flying Sky (Mural)". The composition is both strong and dynamic, and it looks steady, balanced and well-proportioned. The contrast between the dark blue background and the bright costumes of Feitian makes the sky feel even more profound and distant, and the flowing and varied lines vividly express the posture of the sky and the flying of the clothes, and the leisurely clouds in the blank space on the edge of the paper make the mythological atmosphere stronger. 

This souvenir sheet is intact and in good condition.
