1987 HSBC Bank $100 "Red Eight Trigrams" (AU-UNC Condition) EN 240659

This banknote was issued by HSBC Bank from 1985 to 1988, with a total of four different years. In 1986, the paper-type banknote had a lower circulation, and its obverse featured an octagonal pattern resembling the Eight Trigrams formation from the Chinese Book of Changes (I Ching). The entire banknote is red in color, hence collectors refer to it as the "Red Eight Trigrams."

The ones being sold this time are consecutive 1987 $100 banknotes. They belong to a relatively cheaper year. They are in straight condition without folds. However, there is some discoloration in the upper right corner on the back. The serial number is EN 240659. They are assessed to be in AU-UNC condition.
