2022 Australian One Ounce Year of the Tiger Silver Coin (Dragon Privy Mark) (99.99% Pure Silver)

Issued by the Australian Government and minted by the Perth Mint with LBMA certification, this Year of the Tiger zodiac silver coin features a one ounce 99.99% pure silver Australian dollar denomination. It has a diameter of 4.09 cm and a thickness of 0.35 cm. The coin comes in a plastic capsule, is in UNC (uncirculated) condition, and is without any blemishes.

The reverse side depicts a young tiger following its proud and protective parents as they traverse a rocky landscape characterized by ferns and bamboo. The design includes the Chinese character for "tiger," the inscription "TIGER 2022," and the "P" mintmark for the Perth Mint.

The obverse features the Jody Clark portrait of Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom, along with the weight, fineness, and face value of the coin.

Additional Information:

The Australian Government has been issuing zodiac silver coins since 1999.

From 1999 to 2010, zodiac coins were issued from the Rabbit to the Tiger (no half-ounce coins were issued from 2008 to 2010).

From 2008 to 2019, zodiac coins were issued from the Rat to the Pig (two different sets of zodiac coins were issued in the same year from 2008 to 2010).

Starting from 2020, the third set of zodiac silver coins has been issued.
