1990 Standard Chartered Bank HK$50 (F Series) Banknote (EF condition)

This banknote features the Lion Dance design and was issued from 1985 to 1992, with a total of six different years. The banknote being sold this time is the 1990 F Series, which was only issued in 1990 and 1991. In 1990, only 200,000 notes were issued, while in 1991, there were 800,000 notes. When two different years share the same letter track, it is referred to as a "riding year."

The 1990 HK$ 50 banknote has two letter tracks, E Series and F Series (both are riding years). The E Series has 800,000 notes, while the F Series has only 200,000 notes. The book price for the F Series is approximately four times higher than the E Series.

This banknote has a central fold and is valued at $500 per note according to the "Hong Kong and Macau Coin Catalog 2014" for the EF Series. Our selling price is $250 per note. We have four consecutive notes with similar conditions, and they will be sold in order, starting from the number F 113266 to F 113269.
